As Mongoose’s first-ever Sales Enablement Manager, you’ll be the architect of success for our sales team. You’ll craft the playbook, build the framework, and equip our team with the tools, training, and strategies to thrive. This is more than an operational role—it’s about driving impact by empowering a high-performing sales organization to exceed ambitious goals. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, you’ll bridge strategy and execution, ensuring that every salesperson is prepared to win. What You’ll Do:
Build the Foundation for Sales Excellence
- Create and own Mongoose’s first comprehensive sales enablement and certification strategy, tailoring resources and programs to align with our ambitious revenue goals.
- Develop sales playbooks, templates, and tools that drive consistency and success across the team.
- Partner with leadership to identify key enablement priorities, ensuring the team is armed with everything they need to close deals with confidence.
Lead Training That Sticks
- Design and deliver engaging, high-impact training sessions for onboarding new hires and upskilling the current team.
- Roll out training programs on consultative selling, objection handling, product expertise, and storytelling that elevate performance at every level.
- Make training actionable and memorable—your programs will be what sales reps rave about as the secret to their success.
Turn Strategy into Action
- Collaborate with Marketing to create powerful sales collateral, case studies, and messaging that resonate with prospects.
- Ensure the sales team understands and aligns with our go-to-market strategies, making them unstoppable ambassadors of the Mongoose brand.
- Partner with Product to translate new features and updates into compelling value propositions that the sales team can deliver flawlessly.
Optimize Processes That Scale
- Evaluate and enhance sales processes to ensure they’re efficient, scalable, and set up for sustained success.
- Introduce and manage sales tools and platforms that help the team focus on what matters—building relationships and closing deals.
- Drive CRM adoption and data hygiene, ensuring the team has access to accurate insights that inform decisions.
Measure What Matters
- Define and track enablement success metrics, connecting your programs to tangible outcomes like ramp time, win rates, and pipeline velocity.
- Use data to continuously refine and improve enablement initiatives, ensuring they have a direct impact on revenue growth.
- Provide regular insights and feedback to leadership to inform strategic decision-making and keep the sales team ahead of the curve.
Show off Mongoose to Prospects
- Conduct engaging and value-driven product demonstrations tailored to the unique needs of each prospect, with a focus on strategic accounts
- Provide product demonstration support and development feedback for Revenue staff.
- Participate as needed in marketing and live events to provide product demonstrations.
Develop Winning RFP Responses
- While not a major revenue driver, RFPs are part of higher education sales and you will lead efforts to respond with top tier content that will showcase Mongoose strengths
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
A Strategic Mindset & Builder’s Mentality
- You don’t just love building things—you thrive in it. You have experience creating enablement programs from scratch and the vision to design initiatives that scale.
- 3-5 years in sales enablement, sales operations, or a related role, preferably in SaaS or B2B environments.
An Educator’s Passion
- You excel at taking complex ideas and turning them into simple, actionable steps that sales teams can execute immediately.
- Your training sessions don’t feel like lectures—they’re experiences that engage, inspire, and stick.
Mastery of the Sales Funnel
- You have a deep understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to close, and can spot what reps need to get better at each stage.
- Expertise with CRM systems (like Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms is second nature to you.
Collaboration at the Core
- You know how to partner across teams and create alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Product. Your work connects the dots and makes everyone better.
- Your ability to build strong relationships ensures sales has everything they need to succeed, while giving other teams the insights to drive impact.

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
