The new AI-generated auto-reply feature helps you create personalized auto-replies quickly and efficiently by using in-product prompts. Simply write a prompt, and the AI will generate a professional and tailored message that fits your needs. Once generated, you can easily edit the message to fine-tune the tone and details, ensuring it aligns perfectly with your communication style. This gives you greater control over responses while reducing the time spent crafting individual replies. Automating the process allows you to focus on more critical tasks without sacrificing message quality.
AI-Generated OOO

The AI-generated OOO feature makes crafting out-of-office messages simple and intuitive. Provide a prompt, and the AI will generate a thoughtful and personalized response for you to implement. You can edit the generated message to reflect your exact availability, tone, or additional information, ensuring it feels professional and authentic. This added flexibility helps you communicate effectively, even when unavailable, while keeping your audience informed. With AI handling the heavy lifting, you can set expectations effortlessly and maintain trust with your contacts.
Smart Messages for Personal Inboxes

Personal inboxes now support the same three smart message types available in shared inboxes, giving users more ways to engage contacts personally while keeping conversations organized. Options include “Send to my assigned contacts only,” which sends messages only to assigned contacts, and “Send as assigned user,” which routes smart message results directly to each user’s inbox, with complete message and inbox details accessible. We listened to user feedback on specific engagement needs, enabling more personalized calls to action like “Would you like to book an appointment?” with auto-replies linking to an advisor, and allowing users to respond to “Other” responses within message tags—enhancing both engagement and flexibility.
Multiple Tags per Message

With up to 20 message tags now available per message, Cadence enables more flexible and detailed tracking for each conversation, enhancing reporting capabilities. The expanded tagging system also allows for the inclusion of multiple tags in exports and within segment builders. Previously limited to a single tag, users can now categorize messages more precisely, enabling improved reporting within Cadence and integrated CRMs, gaining deeper insights into messaging trends, and optimizing follow-up strategies accordingly.

Seamlessly link a WhatsApp number to your inbox, enabling your team to manage every conversation in one unified space. Respond to inbound messages directly through WhatsApp, ensuring timely and effective engagement. This release includes simple registration with a WhatsApp Business Account, support for multimedia content like images and PDFs, and full reporting parity, empowering your team to handle international communications with confidence and ease.
Exclude URLs from Crawl

Introducing the ability to exclude specific URLs from our AI web crawler, gives us more flexibility when training your AI Assistant. This feature is ideal for cases like wanting to train the bot on undergraduate programs while excluding irrelevant graduate pages. By removing certain pages, we ensure the accuracy of the AI’s responses without the need to alter your website’s content. Manually Assigned Follow-Ups

With this update, email notifications will now be generated for both automatically and manually assigned follow-ups. Recognizing that getting started is often the hardest part, we’re leveraging the AI already integrated with our AI Suggested Replies to enhance our Templates feature by introducing AI Generated Templates. You can input a prompt, like “Create a template reminding our students to register for class by 11/1”, and our AI will generate customizable options you can save and use. This innovation saves you time by providing creative messaging alternatives and simplifying the planning of future messages, all while ensuring your communications are timely and effective.
User-Level & Chat Template Creation

We’ve made template creation more user-friendly by allowing all users to create personal templates without needing admin access. Now, you can easily access the Templates menu, which has been moved to a separate tab for easier navigation. Here, you can choose between personal or team templates. This setup enhances your autonomy and is specifically tailored for both text and chat conversations, making it simpler and more intuitive.
Auto-Reply and OOO

We’ve enhanced the auto-reply and out-of office messaging features by incorporating templates and emojis, making your messages more engaging. While we don’t support merge fields in these templates due to potential data mismatches, this update transforms the previous simple text box into a more dynamic and user-friendly feature. These changes, driven by extensive user feedback, better align with our overall messaging framework and continue to enhance one of our most utilized features.
Custom Import/Export Times for FTP Integration

We’ve introduced the ability to set up to two additional custom import/export times for our FTP integration. The import/export process will run at the specified times while our four standardized times remain unchanged. This enhancement allows users to better anticipate the flow of data, ensuring the most up-to-date information reaches Cadence and efficiently integrates into their processes. This feature provides better data accuracy and fits seamlessly into existing workflows.
Delete Conversations in Chat

Admins can now delete chat conversations entirely from their Chat inbox, reports, exports, and contact details. This feature addresses the need to remove test conversations before going live, facilitating a clean inbox for newly onboarded clients and internal testing. Additionally, it allows for the removal of spam or profane conversations, ensuring a more professional and manageable chat environment.
AI Suggested Replies

Say goodbye to reply guesswork as we’ve enhanced our existing AI within Cadence to include AI Suggested Replies for both Text and Chat inboxes. Our AI Assistant reads messages from the past 48 hours and generates a response based on the most recent message, giving you a starting point and saving time and effort. Customize replies to match your tone and style, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with your institutional brand. This feature improves response speed and accuracy, enhancing overall satisfaction and engagement.
Workday User Interface

As our set of teams using Workday continues to grow, we’ve prioritized making our Workday integration configurable directly in Cadence. Previously, setting up this connection required manual configuration with our support team. Now, admins can select data sources, map fields, and set automatic import schedules, simplifying the data management process. Extended Reporting History

Users now have access to 180 days of message history in the “Sent” tab, up from the previous limit of 120 days or 100 messages. This extension responds to user feedback, providing more historical data for better reporting and analysis. Edit Site Visitor Details

Auto OOO Based on Office Hours
